As DMS Dental, we have delivered one of Türkiye’s most modern dental campuses within Kastamonu University Faculty of Dentistry. Our project is a large-scale dental infrastructure and engineering implementation that supplies a total of 300 separate workstations from a single central point, consisting of 100 Dental Units, 100 Phantom Simulation Benches, and 100 Preclinical Benches.
Ensuring seamless operation under one roof for both clinical units and training benches—with different technical requirements—required advanced planning:
Integrated Technical Design:
All mechanical dental infrastructure lines were digitally designed using AutoCAD and BIM, fully aligned with the faculty’s architectural layout.
Flow & Pressure Calculations:
To prevent overlap between clinical treatment demand and intensive student laboratory usage, medical air and vacuum flow rates were engineered separately for each department (Clinic, Phantom, Preclinical) using specialized algorithms.
Mechanical Installation Optimization:
From the start of the project, pipe diameters, system-room layout, and line gradients were optimized by DMS engineers to maximize operational continuity.

Uninterrupted Medical Air Supply:
With 2 DMS Central Dental Compressor Systems, all 300 workstations receive 100% oil-free, dry, and sterile medical air. Thanks to redundant operation, education and treatment processes continue without interruption—even during maintenance on one of the systems.
Dedicated Vacuum Infrastructure:
For clinical operations: 1 high-capacity DMS Central Dental Aspirator System
For Phantom and Preclinical training departments: 1 DMS Central Dental Aspirator System
By separating clinical load from training load, overall system efficiency and stability are optimized.
Laboratory Dust Vacuum Technology:
To maintain hygiene standards in preclinical laboratories, 6 DMS Central Dust Aspirator Systems were integrated. These systems extract dust generated during modeling work directly at the source, providing a healthier learning environment.
Hybrid Project Expertise:
Combining three distinct infrastructures—clinical units, phantom simulation, and preclinical benches—under a single engineering approach delivered major operational and managerial advantages.
MDR Class IIa Assurance:
All central systems used are certified under (EU) 2017/745 Class IIa, among Türkiye’s first domestically manufactured solutions in this field, fully meeting international standards.
End-to-End Responsibility:
From design and piping installation to equipment mounting and commissioning, the entire process was executed under DMS expertise—providing Kastamonu University with a sustainable, long-life technological foundation.
