As DMS Dental, we have successfully delivered the İzmir Katip Çelebi University Faculty of Dentistry project—one of Turkey’s most modern campuses for dental education. With its massive capacity supporting 350 units managed from a single center, this work stands out as the largest and most comprehensive dental infrastructure project in Türkiye.
Ensuring smooth operation in a 350-unit system requires not only high-quality equipment, but also flawless engineering and design. In this project, DMS Dental demonstrated its strength through an engineering-driven approach:
BIM and AutoCAD Integration:
From the very beginning, we designed the entire infrastructure digitally using BIM (Building Information Modeling) and AutoCAD technologies.
Millimeter-Level Calculations:
Across thousands of meters of piping serving 350 units, we carried out flow-rate and airflow/vacuum simulations to ensure that even the most distant units experience no pressure or vacuum loss. Every detail—from pipe diameters to the layout of the system room—was engineered to align perfectly with the building’s architecture.
To ensure uninterrupted 24/7 operation in this large complex—where education and healthcare services run simultaneously—the following high-capacity system groups were installed:
Maximum Medical Air Power:
With 5 DMS Central Dental Compressor Systems, all 350 units across the faculty are supplied with 100% oil-free, dry, and sterile medical air.
High-Performance Vacuum:
With 4 DMS Central Dental Aspirator Systems, powerful and stable vacuum support is provided throughout all clinics at surgical-grade standards.
Central Dust Vacuum Technology:
A total of 10 DMS Central Dust Aspirator Systems were integrated—bringing a major leap in laboratory hygiene. These systems extract dust directly at the source (from the workbench) in preclinical and prosthetics labs, protecting student health and maximizing environmental cleanliness and sterilization.
The İzmir Katip Çelebi University project represents an engineering record in terms of managed airflow volume and vacuum capacity.
International Assurance:
All installed systems are certified under (EU) 2017/745 Class IIa (MDR) and fully aligned with the university’s high-technology vision.
Smart Energy Management:
Thanks to smart control panels, the system balances load and activates only the required motor groups—delivering maximum energy savings for this 350-unit capacity.
