As DMS Dental, we are proud to serve as a strategic solution partner in the infrastructure modernization of Istanbul University Çapa Faculty of Dentistry, the pioneer of dental education in Türkiye. This project is a major engineering undertaking that meets both the continuity needs of clinical operations and the technical requirements of the large-scale phantom laboratories where future dentists are trained.
Establishing uninterrupted vacuum power for 100 clinical units and 100 phantom units within the historic and complex architecture of the Çapa campus required an advanced engineering and planning process:
Digital Infrastructure Design:
All vacuum lines were designed in AutoCAD and BIM environments with millimeter-level precision.
Vacuum Flow & Network Calculations:
Pipe diameters and pressure balancing were engineered using specialized algorithms to prevent vacuum loss—even during peak times when the full 200-unit load operates simultaneously.
Spatial Optimization:
With a system-room layout designed for maximum efficiency in limited spaces, both central units were integrated into the faculty’s architectural structure in the most effective way.
To provide tailored solutions for different faculty departments, two main vacuum centers were established:
Clinical Power:
With the installation of 1 DMS Central Dental Aspirator System (DA 25000), surgical and treatment procedures in the faculty clinics can be carried out with maximum vacuum stability.
Educational Infrastructure (Phantom Laboratory):
For the Phantom Laboratory consisting of 100 units, 1 DMS Central Dental Aspirator System (DA 15000) was installed. Designed with an industrial-grade structure resistant to intensive use, this system provides the continuous vacuum power required for students’ hands-on training.
MDR Class IIa Assurance:
Our systems are certified under (EU) 2017/745 Class IIa, among Türkiye’s first domestically manufactured solutions in this field, fully meeting the university’s high academic quality standards.
Energy Efficiency & Smart Control:
Digital control panels detect real-time usage intensity and generate only the required vacuum power—delivering maximum energy savings and extended equipment lifetime.
