At the Biruni University Faculty of Dentistry campus—one of Istanbul’s well-established foundation universities—we delivered a large-scale infrastructure project where technology and aesthetics are at the center. This project is an end-to-end engineering achievement, covering everything from design and mechanical installation to the integration of premium Italian dental units and the installation of advanced Combined System technologies.
The smooth operation of this modern 60-unit clinic was made possible through advanced digital engineering:
Digital Technical Design:
All dental mechanical installation networks were digitally designed in AutoCAD, fully aligned with the faculty’s architectural layout.
Mechanical Installation Execution:
Medical air and vacuum lines running from the system room to the clinics were installed on-site by DMS teams, based on engineering calculations designed to minimize pressure loss.
Unit Integration:
All installation requirements of the world-renowned Simple&Smart Italian Dental Units were engineered in accordance with the units’ precision structure, and the large-scale 60-unit integration was successfully completed.
To manage clinical operational load with maximum efficiency, the following infrastructure was implemented:
Dual Combined System (2 × D-KOMPAS):
Within the project scope, 2 DMS Central Combined (D-KOMPAS) Compressor & Aspirator Systems were installed.
Redundant and Stable Performance:
Thanks to parallel operation of the two D-KOMPAS units, uninterrupted power is delivered to all 60 units, while 100% oil-free medical air and surgical-grade vacuum stability are maintained at the highest level.
Compact Space Saving:
By combining compressor and aspirator in a single chassis, D-KOMPAS technology provides significant space savings in the system room—creating additional usable areas for the faculty.
Compatibility with International Technology:
The high-standard medical air and stable vacuum required by Simple&Smart Italian units were fully met through our MDR Class IIa certified DMS systems.
Integrated Responsibility:
Managing all stages—project design, mechanical installation, equipment installation, and commissioning—under one expert responsibility (DMS) delivered strong operational confidence for the university.

With digital control panels balancing the system load, our solutions minimize energy costs and contribute to a sustainable campus environment.
