As DMS Dental, we delivered one of our most complex infrastructure projects at the extensive clinical and academic campus of Medipol University Faculty of Dentistry, one of Türkiye’s leading institutions in healthcare education. This project is an end-to-end engineering achievement—from design and mechanical installation integration to optimizing existing systems and installing next-generation smart equipment.
Ensuring seamless operation of multiple central units with different capacities and technologies within a single campus required advanced technical planning:
Digital Infrastructure Design:
All dental mechanical installation networks were engineered using AutoCAD and BIM, fully aligned with the faculty’s architectural structure.
System Integration:
By synchronizing existing P and V series units with the next-generation DMS 8020 series, we established uninterrupted and balanced medical air–vacuum distribution across the entire faculty.
To support Medipol University’s intensive patient flow and large student capacity, the following infrastructure group was implemented:
Next-Generation Medical Air & Vacuum Power:
With 4 DMS Central Dental Compressor Systems, all clinics are supplied with 100% oil-free and sterile medical air.
With 1 DMS Central Dental Aspirator System (High Capacity), maximum vacuum stability was established across surgical and general treatment departments.
Compact Technology (D-KOMPAS):
With 1 DMS Central Combined (D-KOMPAS) Compressor & Aspirator System, space saving and high performance are combined on a single chassis, strengthening overall redundancy.
Sustainable Infrastructure:
By integrating 2 P-series compressors and 2 V-series aspirator units, total capacity was increased to the highest level, creating a foundation aligned with the faculty’s long-term growth vision.
Large-Scale Capacity Management:
Centralized management of multiple units through smart energy management and digital control panels delivers significant advantages in operating costs.
MDR Class IIa Assurance:
All domestically manufactured systems used in the project comply fully with international medical device regulations under MDR (EU) 2017/745 Class IIa, meeting the university’s high quality standards.
From Engineering to Implementation:
Executing the full process under one responsibility—from project drawings to mechanical installation and system integration—enabled complex systems to be commissioned flawlessly.
