The Afyon Kocatepe University Faculty of Dentistry project, completed in 2013, is a strategic reference that proves DMS Dental’s ability to build flawless infrastructure not only with its own technologies, but also by integrating different central-system brands available in the market. This project reflects the story of a flexible and durable technical foundation designed to serve the faculty’s growth objectives.
In the Afyon Kocatepe University project, DMS assumed a brand-independent role as a Technical Supervisor:
Multi-Brand Compressor & Vacuum Integration:
Compressor and vacuum groups from other brands operating within the faculty were enabled to work in full compatibility with DMS’s high-standard mechanical infrastructure. These units—featuring different motor powers and flow-rate values—were adapted to be managed efficiently from a single central system.
Flow & Pressure Stabilization:
By analyzing the technical requirements of different brands, precise engineering calculations were performed to ensure stable pressure and uninterrupted vacuum power at every dental unit throughout the clinics.
Regardless of which devices were installed at the core of the system, the infrastructure engineered by DMS delivered the following advantages to the faculty:
Zero-Defect Mechanical Installation:
The medical air and vacuum lines installed in 2013 were constructed to industrial standards—verified for leak-tightness—and designed to withstand heavy clinical traffic and Afyon’s regional conditions.
Efficiency-Focused Design:
To maximize the performance of existing devices, pipe diameters and line slopes were engineered to minimize energy losses and optimize overall system efficiency.
Flexibility & Expertise:
Our capability to modernize and stabilize complex system rooms containing third-party devices was the key driver behind the project’s success.
Future-Ready Engineering:
The infrastructure built in 2013 was designed as a flexible platform, ready to accommodate future capacity expansions and next-generation equipment additions over time.
An Integrated Solution Partner:
Providing engineering services that cover the entire system—design, installation, and supervision—rather than supplying equipment only, delivered strong operational confidence to the university.
